2014 RAM 1500 LARAMIE CREW CAB-Safety
Many people buy trucks because they are heavy duty, bigger, safer and many other reasons. Well, Ram has gone above and beyond the normal safety brinks and put in more! Front tow hooks, which are normally used for towing, obviously, fold under frontal impact and “rinkle” allowing for more force to be absorbed by the truck rather than person. The hooks are attached to the steel frame of the truck allowing for more support. Airbags are also a plus. So you have the normal driver and passenger front airbags, but also airbags on the side of the seats! Even more, the doors have a window airbag. 2014 Jeep Cherokee- Active Jeep Drive 1 or 2?
Jeep Active Drive I—available on Sport, Latitude, and Limited models—is a fully automatic, single power-takeoff unit system said to improve both under and oversteer conditions, deliver yaw control, and offer balanced torque distribution via the braking system. Jeep Active Drive II is also available on Sport, Latitude, and Limited models, and offers a two-speed PTU with low range. Selecting 4-Low mode locks the front and rear driveshafts and provides a 2.92:1 gear reduction for maximum torque and pulling power. When teamed with the four-cylinder engine, Active Drive II provides a 56:1 crawl ratio; the crawl ratio with the V-6 is 47.8:1. This system also pulls off the brake-based torque-apportioning trick. The third system, Jeep Active Jeep Drive Lock, is standard on the Trailhawk, and adds a locking rear differential to all of the Active Drive II features for better low-speed traction.
2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited-Wireless Charging Pad
So as many of you know, Jeep reintroduced the Cherokee for 2014 instead of the Liberty! One of the cool features that comes in the Cherokee Limited is the wireless charging pad by Qi (pronounced chee)!! So if you have a compatible phone, you can simply place your phone on to the charging pad, move the two bracing devices so the phone doesn’t move and simply let it charge! Today we are taking a step back from the cars, trucks and SUV’s topic and talking about women. More specifically, empowering women to stand up, make change happen and strive for excellence! Its the end of 2013 and by now, it should be noted that women are just as successful as men. For example, GM just hired their first female CEO, Mary Barra. She is just one of 23 women heading a Fortune 500 company, and the first to head a major automaker! This comes around as a huge step for women in the business world! Finally, someone who started at the bottom, as an intern, has made it to the very top, breaking through that “glass ceiling.” So with her as an example and many others surely to join her ranks, it is about time women get the respect and gratitude they deserve, in every aspect of life. 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE LIMITED
So if you haven’t noticed, it’s getting cold outside.. Plus, it’s the holiday season and everyone is out and about shopping. Well, the perfect solution to that is Remote Start! So this 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited has remote start. First, a little back ground. I was at Oak Park Mall last weekend in JCPenny’s in the check-out lane, thought to myself “I wonder if my car will start from here?” So I tried it. Now keep in mind, my Jeep is at the end of the Dillard’s parking lot, so the complete opposite side of where I was. It worked! Cool thing about this being warmth and music! I had earlier preset my remote start option to turn on the heated steering wheel and seats, blue-tooth connection, and heater. So, when I returned to my SUV, I was completely warm hands, feet and all ,plus I already had my music playing when I was about 5 ft from the Jeep! So I would say this is a must have feature, especially if you are already spending the money on a newer vehicle, I would make sure to get this! 2013 RAM 1500 LARAMIE CREW CAB- Navigation
So many of the new 2013 and even newer 2014 models of Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler have one of the best, if not the best, navigation systems available for vehicles! For instance, this 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab, has the Uconnect 8.4AN/RA4 system! It may sound just as plan as the rest but trust me, it’s not! The difference between the navigation in this system and the others, is that it shows the Nav in full 3D! So instead of seeing a image like this
on your display, your navigation image will look like this!!
The cool thing and probably I would say most helpful, is the arrows. So not only is this system telling you when to turn, it shows the actual road sign on the screen to double check with what you literally see. Also, for the tricky exits that say something like “Take the next right, stay left, merge left etc…” this screen shows you exactly which lane you will need to be in from the very beginning of the turns. Plus, instead of waiting until the last minute to give you a direction, this system is two directions ahead! 2013 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8- Sunroof
So many vehicles these days come with a sunroof. Most buyers know that the sunroof can cause the price of the vehicle to go up quite a bit. So lets talk a little bit about the different kinds. Pop-up sunroofs, spoiler sunroofs, inbuilt sunroofs (moonroofs), removable sunroofs and folding sunroofs. Most folding sunroofs come equipped on SUVS, such as Jeep or Hummer. In-built’s are installed on many makes and models, as well as removable and pop-up. This car, the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8, for instance has an inbuilt sunroof (moonroof). So instead of the glass slanting over the top of the car, it slides in between two panels. This one also can vent if wanted.
