2013-2014 Dodge Durango R/T- Safety First!

So we all love the 2013-2014 Dodge Durango R/T’s!! Maybe its the way they look, the way they handle, comfortablility but my main reason is the safety! The new Durango’s offer safety at a new level in SUVs and that is why they remain on top! Equipped with a multistage airbag system, the Dodge Durango can sense the force of an impact and deploy the airbags accordingly. Thus, not all going off at the same time, but as your body needs them! With blind spot monitoring, you will have 4 eyes, which in this case, is a good thing! Helping see what you can not. Electronic stability control helps you, the driver, keep control of your vehicle at all times. Reducing the engine throttle if necessary as well! With a large SUV, it may be difficult at times to see behind you. With the ParkView Back-up Camera, you will no longer have to worry about the unseen. The available ParkView Rear Park Assist System, makes an audible warning when approaching an object in reverse, at low speeds. So if you like the safety that comes standard in these sweet SUVs, check out Woody’s Automotive Group. We have several and have the means to find you the perfect one! Review of the 2014 Chrysler 300 @ Woody’s Automotive Group!

Here’s a review of the 2014 Chrysler 300. We have several here at Woodys Automotive Group and if you like this review come check them out this weekend!! For hours and directions click here! (888)869-0963

The 2014 Chrysler 300 is a full-size sedan available in six primary trim levels: 300, 300S, 300C, John Varvatos Luxury Edition, SRT8 Core and SRT8. The 300S is something of an island in the 300 lineup, adding 8 horsepower under the hood (V6 only), 20-inch alloy wheels with performance tires, a “touring” sport suspension, a Sport mode and shift paddles for the transmission, remote start, unique black-out styling elements, foglights, an eight-way power passenger seat, piano-black cabin accents, a rearview camera and a 10-speaker Beats by Dr. Dre sound system.

Stepping up to the 300C adds the following to the base 300’s equipment list: 18-inch alloy wheels, remote start, foglights, additional chrome exterior accents, a driver-side auto-dimming mirror, LED cabin lighting, heated and cooled front cupholders, power-adjustable pedals, a power tilt-and-telescoping heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, driver memory functions, heated rear seats, a power rear sunshade, a rearview camera, a navigation system with Garmin-sourced software and a six-speaker Alpine audio system.Front angled view of Chrysler 300 The 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition (named after the menswear fashion designer) tacks on niceties like “platinum chrome” exterior trim, 20-inch wheels, the touring suspension and Sport shift features from the 300S, upgraded leather upholstery, extended leather trim and hand-sanded wood inserts.

The SRT8 Core shifts gears to high-performance mode, featuring a 6.4-liter V8 engine, special 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, black exterior accents, a performance-oriented three-mode stability control system, launch control, sport-tuned steering and cloth-upholstered sport seats. The Core’s other standard features are relatively basic, however, mirroring the entry-level 300 for the most part. The full-flavored SRT8 comes with different 20-inch wheels and adds a three-mode adjustable sport suspension, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive and auto-leveling bi-xenon headlamps, sport seats with leather/faux-suede upholstery and most of the luxury features from the 300C. front exterior angled view Many of the upper trims’ features are available on the lower trims as stand-alone options or via various packages. Other option highlights include a panoramic sunroof and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

All 2014 Chrysler 300 trims except the SRT8 come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The 300S V6 gets minor tweaks (including a sport-tuned exhaust) that bump output to 300 hp. An eight-speed automatic is standard, as is rear-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional. On the technology front, the standard 8.4-inch touchscreen interface is one of my favorites, pairing large buttons and crisp graphics with a logical menu structure. Also, the 300’s diverse array of audio options, including an Alpine system, a Harman Kardon system, and of course the thumping Beats by Dr. Dre setup is pretty amazing !

Short Overview of the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan!

The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is a seven-passenger minivan offered in four trim levels: American Value Package (AVP), SE, SXT and R/T. Also standard is the Power Convenience Group, which includes a power liftgate, power sliding rear doors and power-adjustable pedals.

The SE’s and SXT’s main package is a single-DVD entertainment bundle that adds the R/T’s standard touchscreen and audio system along with a 9-inch second-row display screen and an HDMI input. The SXT can be outfitted with a Dual DVD/Blu-ray Entertainment package that boasts 9-inch screens for both the second and third rows as well as the touchscreen display, rearview camera and a few other standard R/T features. A more affordable Uconnect Hands-Free Group offers Bluetooth audio connectivity. The R/T is eligible for the Blu-ray system as well, and all Grand Caravans with the touchscreen can be equipped with an integrated Garmin navigation system. The R/T’s Driver Convenience Group adds Bluetooth audio connectivity, heated front- and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel and second- and third-row window shades. Review of the 2014 Ram 1500!!

The Ram 1500 pickup gets even better for 2014. On top of the handful of updates this year is a new turbo-diesel V6 engine. Ram will also continue to offer its 5.7-liter V8 engine as an optional upgrade over the base gasoline V6 engine. The torque ratings are very similar between the diesel engine and the gas V8, but the V8 has slightly higher towing capacities (depending on the cab/bed configuration you choose), and it’s actually a less expensive upgrade than the diesel.

STYLES. The 2014 Ram 1500 is a full-size pickup available in multiple body styles. The regular cab seats three and is available with either a 6’4″ or 8′ cargo bed. The extended cab (“Quad Cab”) can seat up to six and comes only with the 6’4″ bed. The crew cab increases rear-seat legroom, and is available with either a 5’7″ or 6’4″ bed. There are six main trim levels: Tradesman, HFE, SLT, Sport, Laramie and Longhorn. The Laramie trim level (available in extended and crew cabs only) comes standard with virtually all of the Sport’s features, with a few differences (such as chrome bumpers/grille and a front bench seat), along with added luxuries such as heated mirrors, driver memory functions, leather front seats, a six-way power passenger seat, wood-grain/chrome interior trim and an upgraded sound system with a subwoofer. The Longhorn (which is crew cab only) adds a mesh grille insert, the spray-in bedliner, tow hooks, a larger fuel tank, a remote start, front/rear parking sensors, HD radio, and a navigation system with traffic updates and a Yelp-based search engine. The Limited package adds some awesome features: air suspension, monochromatic paint, chrome side-step bars, automatic windshield wipers, automatic high beams, keyless ignition/entry, a leather and wood steering wheel, upgraded leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.

PERFORMANCE. Standard on the Tradesman, HFE and SLT is a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 engine, generating 305 horsepower. The V6 is matched to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission. Rather than a traditional shift lever, the eight-speed is controlled by a rotary “e-shift” knob on the instrument panel, which frees up storage space in the Rams with center consoles. Two-wheel or four-wheel drive is available. Standard on the higher trims (and optional on all other Rams) is a 5.7-liter V8 with 395 hp. The V8 is matched to one of two automatic transmissions, a six- or an eight-speed. The six-speed is used only on the Tradesman. EPA-estimated fuel economy when equipped with 2WD and the six-speed transmission is (14 city/20 highway) and (13 city/19 highway) with 4WD. With the eight-speed automatic, EPA-estimated fuel economy improves to (15 city/22 highway) with 2WD and (15 city/21 highway) with 4WD.

INTERIOR. The Ram 1500’s cabin is as good as it gets in the pickup segment. Even the lower trim levels boast an attractive design, with quality materials and intuitive controls that are reasonably easy to reach, while the luxurious Laramie’s wood-grain trim and leather upholstery is predictably posh. Truck owners might be thrown off at first by the rotary shift knob on the dashboard (which replaces a conventional shift lever), but it frees up useful space in the front seat, especially in Rams with a center console. The front seats themselves are soft, yet strike an adequate balance between support and comfort. The crew cab’s rear seat is very comfortable, offering loads of legroom and an agreeable seatback angle. Two touchscreen interfaces are available (one 5 inches, the other 8.4 inches) that do a great job of controlling simple and complicated tasks. The touch buttons are large and easy to see at a glance, while physical knobs and buttons provide much appreciated redundant control. Updates to the touchscreen system have made it even easier to use and more visually pleasing than previous models. Other modern convenience features include keyless entry/ignition, adjustable pedals, Bluetooth, voice recognition, smartphone app connectivity and even WiFi hotspot capability. Unique to the Ram 1500 is the optional RamBox feature, which places a pair of lockable compartments over the rear fenders inside the truck bed. With the right equipment levels, these compartments can even be locked and unlocked via remote.

2013 RAM 1500 LARAMIE CREW CAB- Navigation

So many of the new 2013 and even newer 2014 models of Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler have one of the best, if not the best, navigation systems available for vehicles! For instance, this 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab, has the Uconnect 8.4AN/RA4 system! It may sound just as plan as the rest but trust me, it’s not! The difference between the navigation in this system and the others, is that it shows the Nav in full 3D! So instead of seeing a image like this

old nav screen views

on your display, your navigation image will look like this!!

uconnect nav screen view

The cool thing and probably I would say most helpful, is the arrows. So not only is this system telling you when to turn, it shows the actual road sign on the screen to double check with what you literally see. Also, for the tricky exits that say something like “Take the next right, stay left, merge left etc…” this screen shows you exactly which lane you will need to be in from the very beginning of the turns. Plus, instead of waiting until the last minute to give you a direction, this system is two directions ahead! So if this feature sounds appealing to you, check it out in one of our many vehicle here at Woody’s Automotive Group.
